杪秋霜露重，
晨起行幽谷。
黃葉覆溪橋，
荒村唯古木。
寒花疎寂歷，
幽泉微斷續。
機心久已忘，
何事驚麋鹿。

<Translation>
Layer on laver ,frozen dew droops twig ends . Then at daybreak 
sallow leaves across the canyon bridge 
to a tree-buried village , its wizened flowers 
stare into frost clogged paths , and an underground 
spring barely ties its thread of water . Make-
shifts of the mind I've been so long with-
out , a great elk could range up now 
out of the marsh , 
unhurried , unhurried .
